Engine hesitation in higher rpm's?

Two days ago, I drive hard for about 10 minutes strait -- since then, I can feel hesitation which seems to be getting more apparent the more I drive. Any ideas what this is? Spark plugs? But I replaced with platinum plugs less than 10-15k miles ago.

Thanks!
Dan

Sounds like the dreaded 99 Coilpacks issue. Swap them with a friend and see if your problem goes away. I have a 99, and the coilpacks were my problem. Be prepared to spend $60 each for new ones, and approx $75-100 for a set of 6 used ones.

Let us know what the culprit was/is.

K, I know for a fact the previous owner repalced some coils though. And also, my SEL light is not on.

One other thing to note is my friend took out one of my spark plugs to see how much carbon buildup there would be about a week ago (after he sucked in some seafoam), then put it back in. But the platinums are pre-spaced aren't they, so spacing wouldn't be an issue? Do you guys think it has anything to do with him putting back the sparkplug or him sucking seafoam into a tube in my engine?

I beleive I only noticed it 2 days ago when I drove hard on the highway (oh boy was that night fun)for a solid 8 minutes or so.

Thanks for the response wiz.
