My car currently has the IPOD comverter for the 6th gen maxima.

It was working fine for about 8 months now and these days on and off it can't find SAT.

When i press the SAT button it saids "NO SAT" on the display.. Than after a few hours/mins it starts to work again..

Any input??

 

probably a short in one of your wires....think bank when you were younger and your headphone wire had to be messed with to get both to work.

 

Now its not working at all...


I saw the sticky area to disassemble the front part dashboard by the navi.


How hard and what is the risk of doing this??

 

Where were you able to get the iPod converter? I have called my dealer a couple of times and they said it hasn't been released for the 06 Maxima yet. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Are you talking about the pac audio adapter? If so it sounds like the connaction came loose from behind the head unit. I think there's a sticky on dismantling the console to check it out.
