96 GLE with ABS light on

Hey, I was looking to buy a 96 gle but the abs and cel on both on. I know how to pull the codes for the cel but not the ABS. Is there anyway to pull the ABS codes and if not what could be wrong and what should I look out for. I can get the car for cheaper most likely cause of these problems I do not care about fixing them if it is cheap repair.

Lets not assume here. You don't diagnose by stating a "Maybe" statement.

ABS is a another animal. You need a ABS scanner for that. The most you can do is look at each ABS tone ring and look for any crack(s). If there is a crack the space between the crack and the ring will set off a abs light. You can also have a bad ABS speed sensor, You can also have a bad ABS module. IF you have no access to a ABS scan tool or a way to lift your car then I highly suggest you bring it to someone that has a ABS scan tool and knows how to diagnose the problem well. You DON'T just guess on things.
