IMHO, stick with Cattman or Frankencar. No point in dual exhausts for our cars.

Tons more where those came from.......
IMO it would look fugly and out of place just go with a nice stock type muffler.

I'm with you I would love to find a way to run duals or at least have twin pipes that would look like a late model factory set up.After looking at the custom ent. site, I can't see nothing ugly about that.

It appears that one could run piping in front of the tire well and if properly bent, would clear the rear beam. Only issue there is no room for a muffler on the driver side. So, what about a smaller muffler in between the rear beam and the frame that has a in and out on one side and a out on the ohter side similiar to a older Camaro dual out single muffler. Then the outputs would only need tips added to them.

I'll assume that's what Custom Enterprises does, but they do not show ANY under body shots of their dual set-up.

And for us less fortunate members who have not donated, the search links above don't work.

true dual exhaust is impossible on our cars. the only thing you can do is dual tips which is for looks only.

there are people on here that have the CE dual tip set-up

true dual exhaust is two seperate piping from the very front. each one has its own downpipe, cat, b-pipe etc.
dual tips (like the CE one) splits at the b-pipe

here is true dual exhaust on a Z

Here is another pic that shows what true duals are on an F-Body car. Maybe this will clear up any confusion about this topic as well.

*You're looking from under the engine towards the rear of the car* (you never know)

And from the pics, it is no where close to being a "true" dual set-up.

Well this may not be what your looking for, but its something to take a look at.

(The rest of this post was written in simple language for those who don't know much about cars.)

This is an exhaust by AWE-Tuning. This exhaust is for the BiTurbo Audi S4. It utilizes 2 pipes that run side by side and out 1 muffler, not the 2 tips on each side of the car design. The reason why this system is popular on this particular car is because turbo charged cars work best with the least backpressure. Our natrally asperates cars require some backpressure.

That actually looks pretty clean. Do you have any shots of the rear looking at it straight on?

Pretty sweet deal.....^

I really cant see WHO would make a true dual exhaust for a 5th Gen Maxima due to the major modding involved vs actual usefulness.........

I wanna get the Tsudo Catback........

That, I believe, is a Nissan Cefiro (known as the Infinity I-30/I-35 here in the states)

You need to revise your "simple language" to say something that is true then.

Duals like that are available for the G35 sedan as well and are good on naturally aspirated cars, provided the internal diameter isn't too large. ALL cars work best with minimal backpressure, even N/A cars; they do not "require some backpressure". The key is maximizing exhaust flow velocity, which backpressure reduces.
