I have the 4gen maxima and the sunroof is clear which sucks so I decided to tint it, and let me tell you

IT LOOKS AWESOME, I put 5% tint on it and now I never had to close that stupid shade that was always stays closed, it took me about 1/2 an hour to get it into the car, but I screwed a little bit cutting it so I ended up with little lines where I can see the sky, so i cut very narrow lines of the tint and filled it in, so unless you know it's been done you wouldn't have noticed it.

o yeah, forgot to mension it, AndyXXL did this too, we split the tint $

if you have any questions about the 11.1 hp mod let me know, I'll be happy to help you

Hey i tinted my sunroof the other day too!! I used 20% tint though. No one in az would tint it because they said it would crack so i tried it myself and turned out crappy so i had it done for only 30 bucks. Looks perfect and the tint is much better quality than autozone tint.

that's cool, maybe in arizina, but in mass I don't think it will get hot enough, and if it does, I'll just put a new tint on it, it's cheap enough

My windows don't melt, why would the sunroof tint melt? Just like Vinipux said, it doesn't get that hot in MA, and if it does, I always try to park my car in the garage or under a tree

it's the easiest thing dude, first you buy the tint then you cut the tint to your sunroof, be careful with this one, it's better to make it little bit bigger, it's ok, andyxxl and I make it little smaller so we had to fill it in with narrow slices of tint, so make the tint the of the sunroof, then clean the hell out of sunroof, make sure IT'S EXTREMELY CLEAN, otherwise you'll get little hairs in there and such which you don't want. get a spray bottle and fill it with water and little bit of soup. spray the solution on the inside of the car on the sunroof, seperate the tint and the clear tint, make sure the tint glue side doesn't touch each other, and also make sure you spray on the glue tint side, spray the hell out of it, you want it to really be wet, and then apply the tint to the sunroof. now you use squidgy, the one they use to clean windows to get rid of the water between the sunroof and the ting and any bubles and such, you should buy the squidgy at any autozone store for like 2 bucks.

also, hint, make sure the sunroof is cool otherwise the water that you sprayed on the sunroof will dry out fast and it'll be hard to position the tint corectly, and it also might take you couple of tries to get the tint into the position that you need, just make sure you spray enough and it should be fine

good luck
Konstantin

these directions are included when you buy the tinting film

What kind of soup should I spray on the sunroof, will the chicken soup do it?

that's right, but since we're all real men, we can't do that, so we'll just have to make our girlfriends tint our sunroofs, because I don't think any of us have gorillas for a girlfriend
