Living Nightmare!!!!

Ok let me just start off by saying I glad I found this website. Maybe one of ya'll can help with this nightmare. My lower control arms on driver & passenger side are bad. So, I head down to the local carquest and order new parts 3 days later they came in. Brought the parts home they were the wrong contrl arms. So I reordered them. Did this 3 more times always WRONG!! Needless to say I've been thru 3 auto stores CarQuest, Napa, & Auto Zone. Been to 5 junkyards which none of them had the right control arms. Either they are the wrong control entirely or they are the right ones with the wrong ball joint or bushings. I even been to a nissian dealership & order the parts & they came in wrong. I have gotten the wrong parts not once not twice not even three times but 16 times!!!!!!!!!!! So if ANYONE has any suggestions I'll be so thankful to get out of this nightmare....I haven't been able to drive my car for almost 2 months.....

mabye you don't have a maxima??
I have a hard time believing all of those places are giving you the wrong parts. Nissan dealership has always got the parts right for me but not the price.

I bought new one's off ebay. They look exactly like the one's on my car. I didn't put them in yet nor do I plan on doing it anytime soon since I just got an alignment.

Do you have pics of your current LCA's that are mounted on the car vs. the one's you ordered?

Just an FYI, the balljoints on those ebay control arms have been failing within weeks after the install for many org members.

Thats kinda crazy, It shouldnt be that hard.
Are you 100% positive they were the wrong part? You compared them side by side to the OEM control arms of the car?
Since you already have been down for 2 months, why not just purchase new ball joints, and new ES bushing for you current contol arms and install them onto it.

Yea, I know that's why I haven't put them on yet.
Unfortunately I made my purchase before the thread was updated to include the seller bestsuspension. I am waiting for the stock one's to fall apart. They're holding up fine for now

You have to be buying the wrong part or are mistaking the part for being wrong. I cant see everywhere selling you the wrong part 16 times.

Snap some pictures.

my driver side ball joint boot is busted already. Kinda pissed about that, but passenger side is holding up like a champ.

Get good balljoints and put them on the ebay control arms while you let the OEM ones go bad.

ok i've tried ordering new ball joints when they sent the right control arms but both times the new ball joints would hit the axle they weren't fat enough at the bottom to stay in place. I was told they don't sell the bushing you have to buy a whole new control arm.
Another weird thing inside my driver door it says the manufacture date in 8/94 but my title says its a 95????

Well people buy 07 models in '06 so you would tend to think the car is produced PRIOR to the model year it is available. Otherwise there would be no supply.

Why is that weird?
Production dates are nromally different then when they are marketed.
Mine states the same thing. My car is a 96 but the production date is 95

Call Dave Burnett @ South Point Nissan in Austin, TX. He will set you up with a good price and the correct control arm. 512-444-1400. If nothing else he can give you the correct Nissan Part Number.
