Bug behind plastic...

I've got a small, dead bug behind the plastic in front of my speedometer. Has this ever happened to anybody and what's the best way to get in there and get it out?

remove top half of steering wheel cover by unscrewing the 4 or 6 screws under the steering wheel. Pry the top part off. Lower the steering wheel. Remove the two screws above the cluster and pull that trim piece loose (a snap on each side). You don't have to disconnect all the stuff, but disconnect all the stuff on one side so that you can get it outta the way and let it hang. You'll see 3 screws that hold the cluster in place. Remove them and pull it out. There are 4 connectors on the back of the cluster to disconnect. Yank 'em and pull the cluster out of the car. The plastic is held on by about 10 plastic clips, you'll know how to get it off once you see it.

Might as well chunk a bezel in there or some gauge rings while you're at it! You'll be glad you did! hth
