I pretty much just fux0red my gauges.

I was cleaning the winshield and for whatever reason sprayed the cluster. I saw these hazy dots form right before my eyes and I cannot get them off.

The product was invisible glass in the squirt bottle (not spray can).

I have the same dots on my clock. Help!

I have used the Meguires plastic polish (white bottle).

Detailing gurus save me from the spots!

Did you try the Mother's Power Ball too? I just used that on the all clear tail lights that I picked up. Check the product review sticky for the pics. That might remove the spots.

Oddly, I tried some armour-all gel on my dash and it had blended the spots (althought they have not disappeared).

I'm bumping this until they are gone. Detail gurus, take me to school!

From what it looks like, the IG may have etched the plastic somehow. One way to counteract this is to pick up some Novus and tackle it.

That's what I am thinking, it's almost like oxidation for plastic.

If worse comes to worse....

When I bought my max a few years ago, an issue I had was that the cluster cover had a nasty looking area. It looked like it had been rubbed with sandpaper. If worse comes to worse and nothing is working. You could try some 3M super duty rubbing compound. It should gently buff away the spots. Mine was bad enough that I actually had to use '2000 grit wet or dry' sandpaper (I used a small amount of water) to sand it smooth and then I used the rubbing compound to remove any swirling from the sandpaper. It looks brand new again.

Just to update, the armor all gel (comes in an upside-down yellow container for dash and leather) has blended the spots VERY well. They are NOT gone but I don't notice them unless I look for them now.

I just wanted to share what happened in my situation.

Did you ever consider getting a new gauge cover from a junkyard or dealership?

No, I didn't since they were just hazy not cracked or deeply scratched.
