Brake Light Is Illuminated!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, my friends 96 Maxima has the brake dummy light on. What is the cause of this? His fluid it right on the LOW line. He noticed before that he would jiggle the e-brake lever and the light would sometimes go on or off. His e-brake is disconnected. Why his is dashboard brake light on?

C++, it's not the alternator, the battery light isn't on.

His e-brake is FAWKED up. He is a cheap-azz too. I'll put more fluid in there tomorrow because he doesn't even know how to do it.

if his fluid is at the low level then he needs to check his brakes pads..dont add fluid to the reservoir...tell him check his brakes first

You should have known better, as soon as you knew his fluid was right on the low line, you should have told him to add more fluid and see if the light goes away.

I did tell him. He didn't feel like driving to get any fluid and told me that that wasn't the problem. This thread was more to show him that he's geeeeeeeeey.

His breaks have been dusting pretty bad. But anyway, like I said earlier he is a tool, just ask "sickmax" in the 5th Gen forums.
