Remus Exhaust Q's?

There's a company here in Auckland that can sell me a REMUS exhaust system (resonated B-pipe and rear muffler) for my SMX. Anyone here had any experience with REMUS exhausts on their rides?

I second that statement. I generally have only seen them on BMWs.

They're a European exhaust firm and they do make them for the 4th gen - they call Maximas the QX in Europe. I've only ever heard good things about them so maybe it will be better than the RPS cat-back I've got which drones far too much at lower speeds.

They make great exhausts. Have not seen many single-tip designs though.

I think the A4 Turbo had dual remus exhausts and each one had a single tip.

Well, I checked it out about half an hour ago. Swung by their store and the guy got it wrong - it's only the rear muffler with no B-pipe attached.

He's asking $750NZD for the rear muffler alone which is expensive alright - my headers, front flexi-joint and Y-pipe from Woolf cost me $1,100NZD installed...if I can beat him down in price (not literally...hehe...) I'll buy it, get a B-pipe from Woolf to suit, install it and post up some sound clips for you guys.

Cheers for the input and compliments boys.

Interesting. I've always wanted to hear one on a Maxima. A friend has one on a Acura Legend coupe and it sounds great.

I've heard them on Audis, Beemers and a lot of other little euro boxes like the Focus RS and so on and they make a four banger sound like a V6...so maybe I'll sound like a 302 Cleveland.

Hey Caes, I know. I know.

But shipping takes a while to bring it over and this is here...now. Patience...is a virtue I struggle with.

i've got a remus on mine attatched to a greddy mid pipe. it sounds SICK... i'll try to get an audio clip up over the weekend, it might be hard to hear the muffler now since i've put in headers + a y-pipe, but yeah, you'll be extremely happy. if you've checked the remus site you can see that they're nothing short of good quality mufflers.
