Replaced Trunk- Need Help

So I swapped out my beat up trunk for a used one.. few issues.

My keyless entry no longer works-I tried to put the key in ACC while the doors are locked and pressing the lock button to reprogram-nothing.. Any ideas?

Also, I was dumb and didn't make alignment marks-the right side is perfect, but you can tell the left side isn't flush... and Im having a hard time getting it right-any tips?

Thanks

alignement issues, loosen the bolts( and NOT remove the bolts) and shift the trunk accordingly for alignment..

as for the key fob.. my keyfob works.. the only thing I can think of is you didn't put the power trunk latch back to it's correct position?

ironically my key fob battery had died the same day i put the trunk on haha..no problem

as for the alignment.. too much snow atm

on a side note..
the new trunk came w/ a spoiler. i need to rewire my 3rd brake light to the spoiler now..
i cant really go out and look at it because its 8 degrees and inches of snow, but has anyone done this before that can provide some guidance?
im just wondering where to run the wires and what to do with the old 3rd brake light.
