Anyone has exhaust rattle when the bass hits?

Was putting some more deadening in the trunk and wanted to test it all. As I started turning the volume up more and more I noticed a rattle or ringing so to speak coming from underneath the car. Has anyone else experienced this? If so what did you do to cure it? It only happens at very high volume, which isn't often only during tuning and testing out new subs.

Hey Wil,

I had the same problem on my 6th gen, i found out that it was the heat sheilds on top of the mufflers. I just bent them away from the bottom of the trunk pan and it silenced it right up.

Thanks Chef,

For a minute I thought I was going to have to replace the exhaust. I know I have a small leak in the rear. I will do it this evening and let you guys know the results. That's exactly where it sounds like it's coming from, the rear of the car.

in my 4th gen, i had a little rubber flap behind a plastic grill on the underside of the car, driver's side, behind the fender well that rattled like crazy. I cut it out : ). It was probably something important.
