Winter thaw - ahhhh

Splinters of grass are starting to poke through the snow again up here in the Great White North, and I couldn't resist the chance to give it it's first thorough cleaning since the start of winter. Drive through car washes just aren't the same. It was so great to be outside (without a coat!!) and just clean the snot out of my old Max for a good 2 hours. I just couldn't stop. Had to share...

Need the temp up here to be at least 50 degrees or so to get the bumpers resprayed. Hoping for warm weather!

Very nice

How much a paint job like that runs? I remember you got it for free or something like that, but still looks very very good.

Wow, yeah that's a perty paint job. Toronto's first sign of spring is probably more like the climate here in the dead of winter, I dunno how you guys cope with the temps you get up there in wintertime.

I got a good deal on the paint job, but not free. I had it painted in April 06 for $1600 cash, which included a considrable amount of body work too, so I def got my money's worth.

Somehow the blood just adjusts to the temps. Like the first time it hits -10 in say, November, you're freezing your 'jewels' off, but the same temp in February, you're thinking it's a pretty nice day -- because it's not... -30.
That said, it was a pretty tame winter here. Our first snow wasn't until mid January. I was running on snows for about 2 months before I actually needed them.
