Help - Squeaking Noise Driver's Side

Hey fellow .orgers

For the past few months everytime when I close the driver side door or when I go over bumps I hear a squeak by the front driver side panel. It sounds like something is loose. It can't be the struts because when I push down on it it does not squeak. It only happens when I slam the door or over bumps. Anyone had this issue and how was it fixed?

thanks!

Wow, I have EXACTLY the same issue smackdown. I think it's coming from inside the drivers door or just underneath. It's a little disconcerting isn't it?

Its the foam on the backside of your door panel.

Bingo! I knew it was something simple... Now that I know where, it's NBD.

Thanks mizzax - it's appreciated.

Totally makes sense! I had to open up the door panel to replace the driver side mirror. Perhpas I shifted the foam. I will check it this weekend!

Thanks guys!

i have a squeaky noise in the back of the car when going over speed bumps... or even making turns with even a little body roll. might be suspension or bushings on the 'beam.'

anyone have a similar noise from the back?

Hmmm.. I checked this weekend and it's definitely not the foam inside the door panels. It's definitely under the front of the car. Could it be a loose sway bar or struts?

check your swaybar endlinks. Mine we're pretty messed up and made a squeak on even the smallest bumps or getting in/out of the car(driver's side too)

i got a lot of squeaky noises from the front end. just driving on the highway or going over small bumps makes it squeak like a mother. i've greased stuff up, checked and re-checked the front end and everythings nice and tight. any help?? its gotten worse over the past couple of months. i also get this squeaky noise from the right strut, and ive changed the strut mount but still having the same problems, could it be a bad strut or both front struts making that noise?

I had a squeak noise like that a long time ago, it turned out my exhaust hangers were loose and rusted, you might also want to give that a quick check. When i was checking, i just hit the mid section of the exhaust and presto, that was the noise.

I have this same problem except it's gotten noticeably worse, but I think it might be my front end suspension
