I did something pretty stupid today... need help!!
Today i was working on changing the valve cover gaskets on my 95 maxima, and I accidentally dropped one of the ignition coil screws down the dipstick hole. I just can't believe that of all places for it to drop, it ended up there.
I tried looking down the hole to see if it was stuck, but didnt see it. I also tried sticking a small telescoping magnet down to see if i could fish it out, but the magnet wouldnt fit far enough down. does this hole just go to the oil pan? If so, could i just try to drain the oil and hope the screw comes out with the oil? If not, where could it have ended up? Any help at all is GREATLY appreciated!!
thanks guys...

You could try draining the oil pan and seeing if there is any chance in hell that it will come out with the oil. If it doesn't, then after you have drained the oil and with the drainplug still out, take a large/strong magnet and swipe all over the bottom side of the oil pan on the outside- maybe you can drag it out through the drain hole.
Just a thought...
Just a thought...
dang... and i just changed the oil last week
thanks for all the suggestions... i guess ill take out my sub and try to pull it out with the magnet first, and if that doesnt work ill just take the pan out and pray its there...

Just to restate it again.
Its in the lower oil pan, the dip stick is a straight tube to the lower oil pan, so if you havent started the car since it fell, it is in the lower oil pan, drain the oil, and use a magnet, worse come to worse, pull the lower oil pan and you should see the bolt clear as day. Clean the pan, remove old rtv, apply new and seat and tighten
