Removing the black plastic cover that is covering the side view mirror bolts
Hi,
I need to replace the side mirror (driver side). I found this link:
http://home.insightbb.com/~dwh/mirror.htm
which is very helpful but I get stuck on removing that little black triangle shape plastic cover..I just can't seem to pop it out with a flat screwdrivier..do I need to remove the door panel first?
Thanks

Just had to do this myself.....
Pry at the back of shell surrounding the door open handle 'til it pops, then push up ('til pops), then down and wiggle it out.
Remove two screws from bottom of door panel.
Pop screw cover from inside door "cup" (where your hand is when you pull the door closed). Remove screw and cup.
Pry courtesy light lens out and remove two screws. Disconnect assembly.
Pry the front of the window/door switch panel up, pull out and disconnect.
Two body panel "snaps" at the back, and two at the front- best to use a panel prybar, but not 100% needed; you risk breaking the fiberboard.
Lift up at the rear of the door, and slide back from under the "sail". (that panel covering the screws for the mirror.
One more screw at base of sail panel.
I think that's everything......
