WTF, Condensation in headlight casing

It has been raining pretty hard lately in CA and All of a sudden I found one of my headlight totally blurred up with condensation. My headlights are OEM and never been disassembled. Anyone have this happened? Any cure?

Try doing this. Remove the "circle" that covers holds the hid bulb. Leave the car in the sun or drive (or leave the engine on) with the headlights on so the water will evaporate out. After there's no more water, close the "circle" and see what happens in the next few days or after a day that rains.

If the condensation returns, then your seal is bad (or maybe you have a crack somewhere). If you don't see cracks, then it's most likely the seal. You'll have to reseal your headlights with silicone (read the how-to's). I actually had condensation problem on one of my 02/03 headlights. I did the yellow-reflector removal mod, and on my 1st headlight, I thought the old silicone would be enough to seal the headlights when I reassemble them. (on the 2nd headlights, I put new silicone) After it rained, the 1st headlight had condensation. Being the lazy me, I evaporated the water out using the method above, and I just added more silicone on top of the headlights on areas that I can reach to instead of removing the whole headlight and re-open and re-seal. It worked for me =D. If you want to, you can try that and save you a lot of time if it works. If it doesn't work, it didn't hurt much.

Thanks, one question though...when you refer to the "circle" cover...are you talking about the outtermost circle cap that you can turn off or are you talking about the inner HID bulb mount?

Use a Hair Dryer (NOT HEAT GUN) to heat in up from the HID or high beam socket and it will make the condensation evap quickly.

If that does not work do this (Below) and user the Nissan black sealer from the dealer. Your car will look real niiiiice.

This will fix it: http://www.innerbean.com/housecor/clear_HIDs.html

It's the bottom plastic cover circle in the middle with the yellow sticker in the pic:

Just to give the headlights a big opening so the water can evaporate out. Or u can use a hair dryer like Time2go said, but being lazy, I just took off the cap and left the car in the sun for an hour or so and went and did my own business in the house and come back =D. I'll probably silicone all around the headlights and see if that'll work if just using silicone on the top of the headlights didn't work. Or you can do what the link Time2go posted, but it'll take 20 min to cook the headlights, 15 min (give or take) for messing and trying to pray open the headlights and applying new silicone, and another 20 min to cook the headlights again then seal it tightly. Some people used hair dryer / heat gun to open the headlights, but I think it'll be more work.

Choice is yours, but since you're at it, maybe you can do the clear out headlights mod too =D. Good luck! I was scared to cook my headlights, but it worked out fine.. it won't melt as long as it's not touching any metal.
