Will my maxima every need a valve adjustment VG

soooooo...the ole max has 202,000 miles on it. I know some cars require that their valves be adjusted after a healthy dosage of miles. Is this so with my maxima as well. No particular problems have prompted this question. With my head under the hood the max is relatively quite for a car with this many miles, I have never heard any type of lifter knock or any thing like that. I mean I can hear alittle valve train noise from the valve covers, but Its not loud. I figured it to be normal.

If it is necessary how easy is it to do yourself? Do I need to bust out some feeler gauges or something?

mines got 312,000 klms (aust) and i don't have much noise from my valvetrain either, good question though as you would expect an engine with high miles would wear and possibly need adjustments. I would like to know as well if someone with more knowlege would like to step up and answer please.

cheers, rob

by the way my car runs pretty good for the klms, still eats quite a few cars on the road i must say

No valve adjustments are necessary nor possible. It has hydraulic lifters.
