sunroof HELP!

My sunroof isn't working but i can hear the motor sometimes. It won't tilt up or down or go forward, it will only go back. I have to push it forward with my hand. It rained last night and now my cupholder is full of water

. It was leaking from the area where the sunroof buttons are??????

can anyone give me advice just to keep it closed and sealed off. It's sitting just under the roof . I can push it UP into place but when i let go it comes back DOWN.

i dont know too much about sunroofs but if you're wondering if it's leaking from where those buttons are, pull down from the front (i believe) part of the plastic closest to the windshield where those buttons are located. it's just held up there by a clip and you can see easier up there

Yeah, there was water in there. Thanks!. I can't believe it didn't short anything out like the overhead light or the sunroof controls. I cleaned out all the water and tried to make the sunroof a little more flush but there is still a gap.

Again people, i can only send the sunroof backward with the control and then i have to PUSH it forward. The tilt feature isn't working although i hear it working????When i press "tilt up" it will make the motor noise and then stop as if it works but the sunroof doesn't move???

Sounds like a broken pivot like mine caused by stuff stuck in the tracks. For me one of the little metal clips off the side of the sunshade came loose and wedged into the track. Helping the motor push the roof open only damaged one of the pivots that lifts & retracts it. I disassembled my roof assembly enough to diagnose the problem and get the glass to sit pretty even with the roof. A screwdriver helps to pry the pivots fore & aft to make it rise & fall.

Yup i did the same thing. I took my sunroof apart. But this time I made sure the rubber seals are intact.
