Is there such a thing call AC Evaporator on a 4th gen maxima? My dad has a 97 maxima and the AC doesn't work.

I checked the compressor - fine
I checked the condesor - fine
I checked the ac hoses - fine


What else could it be?

 

AC Evap is under the dash, fun to get to.

It doesn't work as the compressor doesn't kick on? How's the refrigerant charge?

 

get the refrigerant levels checked, if it is low, the pressure sensor will keep the compressor from turning on.

 

I need to check the refrigerant charge. I'll check and get back to you guyz.
