sweet rides. Did you get in the car, lock it, and insert it 6 times under like 7 seconds?

did you have a key fob before? Usually if it doesn't blink it means you do not have security in that car. If you do have it then something could be wrong with the unit.

Sometimes you can do it too fast. Fully insert the key and fully retract it each time.

That happened to me. Just make sure that you place it in and out COMPLETELY 6 times within those 10 seconds and the hazards should flash....

The instruction should program your remote. First time I tried it, the light didn't flash. So I tried again fully insert the key and try to do it the correct way, and it worked. Hope you don't have to spend money just b/c of this.

You need to troubleshoot guys, check your antenna wiring. 1st check wires on the exterior antenna, if they are cut do a clean cut and seal. 2nd is to check the internal antenna that would be the wire leads on top your defroster, maker sure there are no breaks in those line. Then the obvious question would be is did you replace tha battery in the fob? And if you did, did you clear the codes out of the fob? I think you have to place batt upside down. If you do a search you will find many troubleshooting techniques to help you. I think these guys have some....http://www.nissanhelp.com/

I never knew about that I knew it was in other vehicles w/o a physical metal antenna for the radio.

The antenna is connected to the fob ecu the wiring on mine was cut, I did a clean cut on it and it worked.

If you pay attention to your defroster area, the first section of wires on top that do not run in uniform with the defroster wires....that is your internal antenna. Check it out, I know this cause when I got my max, the key fob didnt work and I think in the service manual it lists it as a poss. cause of failure when troubleshooting it....Too lazy to make an image but I just looked it up page EL-120 will show it to you.
