Well, I turned on my wipers to clean the windshield and after I turned off the wiper, it just sits on the middle and won’t retract!
I’ve tried a few times on fast setting and somehow it retracted, but the problem keeps coming back.
It’s very annoying to see my wipers rest on the middle of my windshield, and I’m also worried that it might fail during the rainstorm and cause accident.

What seems the problem? The motor? Linkage? Anyone had similar problems?
How much does it cost to repair….ahhhh

 

Did you remove the wiper arms themselves for any reason lately? (paint them, clean...?) My fingers are pointed towards the motors. What I would do is take off the driver's side arm, then turn on the wipers. See if they still get stuck. Then do the same with the passenger side after replacing the drivers side. If they hesitate with only one wiper arm on, then that side is the culprit because the other side wouldn't have any weight on it. ya get it?

 

I've never taken them.... thanks for your input, I will try that and see what happens.
How much is the motor?
