How do you clean oil or grease off leather?

How do you clean oil or grease off leather? I got a little bit of sented oil on my leather does anyone have a good method for this?

I would try to wipe as much as possible off of the seat, then use some leather conditioner and wipe the whole seat (for uniformity's sake). Then take a paper-towel (not a cloth, it soaks up the oils better IMO), and rub the seat down again, and aggressively where the oil was spilled. Then, take a terrycloth and wipe away all the fuzzies and white crap the paper-towel left. Hope this helps

i tried that but the stain is still there. i don t want to spend $100 on detail

anyone scented oil sucks i dont know why people wear it?

I tried goo gone , soap went a leather upholstery spot, they told me 140 to die the whole seat in original color. DEf didnt too spend that much

What about a wet dry vac or something? I know very little about leather, but it kinda seems to me that it is still in there, oils take a very long time to dry. Just a thought. Good luck man.

Oh, and check around the org and junkyards for a cheaper replacement.

Check gliptone- there is a stick in the leather care kit that is supposed to remove ink stains at least. Found mine at Autobarn. Leather care is very good
