4th Gen Oil light

Noticed my oil light today. Never had that happen on any car I've owned, but then again, I've never kept a car past 150k, so that said here's my question:

Outside of the obvious of course, is there anything else a flickering oil light might imply? Im currently at 246k. At this stage, I make it a point to explore any issue that arrises as thoroughly as possible.

Comments appreciated!

P.S. - Per the suggestion of fellow orger (Thanks Pmohr), I think details on the flickering oil light is in order.

As far as I can tell, it has only been flickering thus far. I just noticed it today so Im not sure if its staying on longer than what I've seen, but what I've seen is more of a split second sort of flash. It does this arbirtrarily while the car is running. There is no systematic pattern to it and it doesn't flicker that often. A less observant individual than myself probably wouldn't even notice it. At this point, I can't say that it flickers more when Im driving or at a stand still.

Seems to line up with input I received in the General forum.
Thanks Kevlo!

yeap it is the pressure switch i have this problem now i just changed to a new one but it still does it so wen i got my wheels put on i wiggled the wire a lil and it did it a day or so but for the past few days after that i aint see it anymore if that is not it it is the oil pump goin bad. the good thing about the pressure switch is that it is only lik 15 bucks or less and it is easy to put on just put it on wen u change your oil it is at the bak of the oil pan almost at the top of the back end
