Removing the chrome from the door handles

i think i remember seeing a sticky a long time ago on how to do this, but i cant find it now.

anyone know what im talking about? basically the door handles are painted underneath the chrome film which can be taken off on non-SE models

You cannot remove the chrome, you will have to actually swap out the handles.
