P0223 - TPS Sensor issue after replacing spark plugs

I just went to have the codes pulled and this is the only one i got. I double-checked and saw that everything is where they should be.

There's nothing wrong with the car otherwise. It idles well, doesn't surge and has just as much power accelerating as i'm used to.

I read here that similar codes tend to pop up if you insert the key with the MAF sensor disconnected - how true is that? I had to briefly insert the key and put it on ACC so i could put it in neutral and back my car off a little while the whole thing was disconnected.

If i reset the ECU (hopefully clearing the code), will i damage anything if it is indeed the TPS that's malfunctioning?

Thanks!

If your TB was disconnected when you put the key in the ACC position, that would explain the SES light.

Try the reset and see if it clears it.

Perfect! That worked! I was afraid i messed up bank 6 coil/plug when putting in the new plug with whatever left-over oil there was in that bank.

The light is off now. That surely saved me not only a trip to the dealership but, by doing the plugs myself, another $300!

THANKS EVERYONE WHO HELPED ME WITH THIS! )
