Lightwieght Flywheel.

I was wondering what you guys thought about lightened flywheels for 1/4 mile drag racing, good or bad? expirences? etc.

You probably won't see much of a difference from one, but it's not bad like it is on AWD cars that rely on much more clutch slip to keep from breaking off the line. I'm putting one on my car and I've drag raced other turbo maximas and 350Zs with them and they were just fine.

If your sole reason for getting one is to improve your 1/4 mile time however, I'd spend the money on something more effective at making your car faster because there are better 1/4 mile mods out there.

keep in mind they also extend the life of your car. being that it isn't working as hard to move that flywheel

Light weight flywheels helps the motor rev faster, thus getting you into your power band faster and improving your et. And I like it on my car because it make the car more drivable off boost, and helps when boosting...

It works for me...
