Hello Everyone!

I friend of mine owns a 2001 VW GTI VR6. Coming home from work the other night, we got to the light decided to race. I took him from the start, and we didn’t have a lot of road to play with, but I was pulling away from him all the way to 70. The VW is surprisingly fast though… I thought. He said his traction control was on from the stop and he forgot to turn it off. Maybe one day we will rumble again without the traction control. I will let you know what happens!

Oh… right after that a young kid pulls up to me in a new Volvo S40 and was messing with me. The Maxima cleaned up!

 

Those GTIs with the VR6 are very quick. Good size engine in such a small car. Be careful with those or you might get burned.

Yea I was surprised! I thought it would be an easy kill, but I had to work for that one. I know that car really rocks on the highway also! Heaven forbid he mods that thing!

Yeah he needs to turn off traction control and learn to take off. That car is defintely quicker than the max off the line and highway if the max is stock. But after a intake, the max will take him highway style badly....off the line, still we have a bit of issue getting out of the hole compared to his light car.
