Has anyone bought the clear/reds for a '95 or'96 Maxima from Nopi? if you have, do they match up good with the red on the brake lights? I think they are selling them for about $153.
I really like the clear/reds. I can't stand the amber light or the altezzas . Why didn't nissan just build them like the '97+ so we can do it ourselves.

 

I was under the impression that they were no longer being sold at Nopi.

No, I didn't do them myself. There's a reason my sig is so small. It doesn't match up perfectly, but that's ok, it looks good enough.

I say check the return policy. Order the clear/reds and if they look good/match up nice, keep them, if not, return them and get the all clears and paint those.

 

I got mine from DavidL and they match perfectly... I think they were like $160...

 

i heard he wasn't making them anymore though. Is that true?
I also heard CustomMaxima is making them, has anyone bought this item from him yet and do they match up pretty good?

I remember APC was suppose to make the red/clear tails, but never got around to them b/c more popular applications were to be made. So the red/clears from APC never existed. Most people have either, spray them themselves, gotten them from DavidL7 when he was making 'em, or Custommaxima.com when he was making 'em.
