my boss is thinking about buying a black 2k SE Auto with leather etc. It has like 32k miles on it and the dealer's asking $23k. Sounds kinda to high to me...what do you guy's think? I told him the auto's have had some problems but I was'nt for sure what it was. I would'nt want to pay over 20 myself. thanks

That's ridiculous! For a couple grand more, he can get a spanking new 2k1 SE Auto without the 32k of wear and tear. Tell him to "Just say 'NO'".

Tips on Buying a Used Car

1. Never Pay KBB Retail value (there's always a better deal)

2. Never buy a car that has over 12,000 miles / year (read: PREVIOUSLY USED AS A RENTAL CAR)

3. Never, ever buy a car that is salvage title (check out the car on www.carfax.com first)

4. Try not to buy a car that had more than 1 owner.

5. Never buy a color you don't like simply because it's a good deal (you'll regret it later.)

Hope this helps. These tips seem obvious but sometimes they have to be said. Also, there are GREAT DEALS TO BE HAD ON 2000 MAXIMAS!!! I GUARANTEE YOU!!!

For example, read my profile (I bought my car from a DEALER for this low low price --they were even friendly about it!)
