OKay, listen up, boys and girls! After a long and difficult search, I discovered some models that bear an excellent resemblance to our babies, 4th gen maximas. it is actually the "cedric," but looks like the maxima.

http://sugoi.net/pictures/max/special/

One is 1/43 scale (the mtechpo files), and isn't good on details on the paint job, but since I know you all want to rip off the bubble bar and the decals and paint it to be a normal car, it's all good. It has opening doors and an opening hood revealing a non VQ engine (you will have to make a more suitable engine!)

The others are 1/67, or matchbox scale, and have better paint detail LOL! They also have rollback action and all have opening doors.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PURCHASING THESE! Let me know which size, how many, etc. If I can get an order going, it will be good. I have to orderthese things from Hong Kong though.

Cool, I'm gonna bring out my old car mat with the streets and houses and stuff, so I can play with my cars again.

RE: Maxima Models...

I don't see it. And the mtechpo looks EXACTLY like an LS400 from the front...

Are you aware of....

Are you aware of the 1/24 scale kits by Fujimi of the 1997 Cefiro's.
Kit number FUJ03433 Nissan Cefiro with euro grill.
Kit number FUJ03434 Nissan Cefiro wagon with euro grill.
(Fujimi's descriptions)

Different on line hobby shops can get them. The price at one time a couple of years ago was $28.95 plus shipping.

Don't know if their still offered without searching.

(shrug) if you're interested, I can give a link for the place to get them if you don't want to order them through me. No places carry 4th gen kits. I have tried VERY hard to find them.

I am planning to mod these a little and repaint them...I hate the popo too.

This place lists the 4th gen Maxima (1997 Cefiro) 1/24th scale kits. Look under available Fujimi kits under cars.

I'm getting married to a female five-o! Went to college with her, I guess this cop is OK, she's a smart one (not typical). 'bout one of the few cops with 2+ degrees. Loves the idea of giving back to the community so don't put all cops in the same basket. I on the other hand, will apply for employment with DEA and ATF following my grad. in December.

Ps. had a few bad run ins with a few dirty pigs but they screwed up, brother in law is a FED! All of us have encountered a few dirty cops in our lives but it isn't fair to judge them all. They do a tough job that nobody wants and are underpaid. It's like judging all Japanese cars as rice burners (don't ever compare my ride to a civic, that's a sardine can with bees trapped under it).

Actually one of your models (the last two pics) is not a Maxima/Celfiro. It is a Nissan Cima, i.e. 2nd gen Q45.
