I took half a day from work to intercept the UPS truck. My mother was home, but parents cant know about this crap. So I double parked and met the UPS truck at the street. As soon as he pulled up I went up to him. He goes to me, "I guess you couldn't wait for this thing to come, huh? Then I took it for installation.

That B*TCH is loud. Good thing its 50 state legal because I can see the cops pulling my *** over. I am a little disapointed, because I expected it to be less loud. But I'll try to live with it.

Heh...your parents aren't going to notice every day/night when you pull up, how loud your car is, and how much bigger an exhaust you have? Or is it after-the-fact, it doesn't matter? I know people like parents dont really take much notice to the width of exhaust tips, but they'll notice that sound I'd think...

as for my parents noticing, my father heard the noice this morning while i started the car up to go to work. He looked out the window. He hasn't said anything to me yet. When he does, then...

 

Hey man don't worry about the sound. As the muffler "breaks in " over then next few weeks, the sound will lessen and deepen due to "packing" of the baffeleing material. That was teh case with my GReddy's on my 300zx and on the Stealin on my Ma, dont sweat it....

As for the folks.... thats a whole other issue.
