go to autotoys.com and look in the "DASH & SPEAKER KITS - PLUG IN HARNESSES, CONVERTERS - ANTENNA ADAPTERS" category and you'll find speaker adapters, and there's one that fits the oversize 6.5's

this is what the description says:
"Adapts 5 1/4 inch, 6inch or 6 1/2 inch speakers to an oversized OEM 6 1/2 (or termed 6.75) opening (pair)."

and they're $14.50 + s&h for a pair.

just letting yall know.

Or you could just get the 6.75 speakers. Usually same price as 6 1/2s or you can get the adapters from crutchfield for free with your speakers when you buy them. I had trouble with their adapters because of the way the opening is recessed. Kappa 6.75s fit perfectly...

Infinity Kappa 652.3

I just installed these about two weeks ago at the Mass meet and they are a perfect fit in the rear deck. They are an excellent High performance speaker that wasn't that hard to put in, as long as you have two people.
