take it somewhere to get it done, it will take you hours and you will demolish your rims.

I known someone who had to use a cutting wheel attached to an air compressor and just cut around the bolt. destroyed the rims.

Ummm... I've got a better idea. Happened to me, 3 times (don't ask). If the lugnut is stuck and won't turn, heres what you do. Get a breaker bar and stick pipe (I actually used an aluminum hockey stick shaft) on the end of it, and start turning. What will happen is you will eventually twist the stud enough so that you break the stud, you give it enough torque and it WILL give, and then you will be able to get your wheel off. Then you just have to replace the stud, which is a very simple process. Viola... you've got your stripped lugnut/wheel stud off, and your wheels are still in perfect shape. A new stud and lugnut will run you about $2 a piece. Much cheaper than the labor they will charge you and definately cheaper than replacing a wheel if they happen to ruin it.

good idea, but from that he said it sounds like the nut is rounded off.

this has happened to me several times.. must be b.c of so many rims changes. but to get to the question, nealoc is a good suggestions, i just used my stock lug opener and jumped on till the stud gived, cuz i tried using a chisel, and hammer, but it messed up the rim hole. well good luck. its pretty expensive at a tire center, they charge 20 to 45 bucks.

My friend's audi had a stripped lug nut and the mechanic said all he did to remove was to use a smaller size socket size. He must've used a hammer to force the smaller socket onto the lug nut and got enough grip from that.
