I remember that white Maxima, it won Last year's Streetcar Showoff here in Hawaii. It's really nice and I remember the SC whine was really loud when that guy turned his car on.

Really nice car..too bad there weren't more interior pics. That car is so illegal though...y-pipe, etc. It doesn't have the recon sticker either (for those in Hawaii). Does Maui not need one? Sweet car.....sweet car.

WTF is recon and why are you calling this car "stolen", is it actually stolen?

 

Here in Hawaii there is something called a reconstruction permit or "recon". If you modify your car, you must go get your car inspected to get the permit. It's just a way for the government to give headaches to people that want to modify their cars. If you don't get a recon permit, you can't pass your yearly safety check inspection and you're pretty much targeted by cops more. What a pain! To my knowledge, the island of Oahu in the state of Hawaii is the only place in the country where you need a stupid reconstruction permit.

That guy threw a load of $$$ into that. Seems like it was used mainly as a show car. Has pretty low miles.. although, where are you going to drive in Hawaii.
