anyone tried crazy glue instead of 2 sided tape to keep indiglos from causing sticky

sticky needles. i bought a gxe dash off ebay with the purpose off installing indiglos and because i don't want to ruin my se gauges. i want to put indiglos in but don't want any problems. i really don't care too much about this gxe dash but i do want it to function right. so my question is seeing as i have been reading so much about problems with needles sticking is did anyone try crazy glue instead of double sided tape. re using this dash as a normal gxe dash does not matter to me. i don't care if the face of the oem gauge gets ruined from the super glue i just want the indiglos to work right and not cause the needles to stick.. finnally there are a bunch of different styles on ebay which ones work best. any help is greatly appreciated, louis

People have used a hot glue gun with a small dab of glue.

You can break off the glue and not leave damage with the glue from a hot glue gun but with crazy glue ... well ... a LOT harder to gauges off without some kind of damage.

When I got my gauges I tried the tape but that didnt work at all. The needles stuck so badly that I started to get real ****ed off. Thats when I decided to cut off my old gauges. I dont think its a big deal since I was just gonna replace them with some new ones. So, i took off the old gauges and put on the new ones. Now the needles dont stick and the gauges GLOW!

I got mine off of ebay too. It took a long time for me to decide whether or not to cut off the old gauges, but once I did decide, it took about 10 minutes. Besides corner lights and indiglo pedals, it was one of the easiest mods.

wouldnt it be easier to just change out the bulbs behind the gauges to a color and not even mess with the gauge itself and worry about it getting stuck all the time?

Yeah, it would be easier, but then you wouldnt have indiglos. And whats the point of that?
