225/50/16 on 16 X 6.5?

I know that there has been posts about this subject, but I was wondering I anyone had a picture of their rims with the tire size of 225-50-16 on stock 16x6.5. Does the sidewall of the tire buldge out? Because right now, with the 215-55-16, the tire buldges out a little. But I want something a little less profile because there isnt many good tires that come in 215-55-16 sizes. Well, anyone with a pic, please post with the brand of tire. thanks.

Umm, well, I kinda knew that you are able to put 225/50 on the shock 16inch rims, but what I was more wanting to know was how it looks on the actual rim. Because I dont really like the buldging look of the tire sidewall, due to wider tires. I'd like to see how it looks before I get the 225/50 tires.

225/50 will have the exact same profile as a 215/55........the only difference is that the 225 is wider...I will be getting 225/50's on my stock 16's pretty soon...I have seen them before..it doesn't stick out too much more...

I got 225 50 16s on my 6.5 stock SE wheels and I dont like them. They are too wide and buldge off the rim. It would be fine if it were a 7" wide rim. In addition, there is more friction so my MPG's go down, and it might even be slowing me down in the 1/4. Next time I'm getting 215 55 16s, which are the proper size.

Because its 225/50 and 215/55.
225/50 = 23.9* inch total tire diameter, or 4.43" tire sidewall height
215/55 = 24.3* inch total tire diameter, or 4.66" tire sidewall height
*according to tirerack.com

So the difference isnt too much. So the tire profile could be considered the same.

Isn't the sidewall height 55mm for a 55series tire, and 50mm for a 50 series tire?

The 55 or 50 is the percentage of the tread width that makes up the sidewall height.
