2003, 6th Gen Max

Anyone get anymore info on the 6th Gen??

I hear from the people at Nissan in FL and CA that it shall be based on the new Q platform. That means, much bigger. Makes sense since the Altima grew so much.

May even possibly gain 2 extra cylinders (probably for the extra gerth). However, they also tell me that the pricetag will inflate as well. Possibly the $36-46K range.

I don't know a whole lot about the 6th gen but I do know it is not going to be the 2003 model. It goes into production in january of 02 so I whould expect it to be a 2003.5. Unless they produce the o2 maxima for the whole 2002 year, which is possible I suppose, but most car manufactures put the new year model out by September.

actualy most likly it is goning to based on the new altima platform cuz no nissan and infinti are going to be alike body wise and stuff. it might be a streched version of the altima or the old Q plat. the redisighned I35 will not be based on the max or vice versa
