You are not going to get a good airbag suspension for cheap that you will like. If you go the cheap route you will regret it. My bud here in San Antonio runs a shop, http://www.thrill-factory.com He can set you up with parts, ideas, and other things you might need for an air ride suspension. If they are done right, they are great.

You sure?

Make sure you want it first. It can make for some muddy handling and a real bouncy ride. Check out Greg's Max (http://www.custommaxima.com/AirBagKit.html) or max8mycrash (mentioned already) @ http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?threadid=69675

Don't think you'll get away with it being a bolt-on. Also, price varies with what you want. Front/Back adjustable kits are $1800 (from max8mycrash) and I have no idea how much Greg's system cost. Prob. a sick amount of money because he had to have it custom-fitted.

Is airbag suspension the same as coilover or is it something else all together?

There is a relation in the sense that they both strive to give you control over your ride height. Airbags are just what they sound like, bags full of compressed gas that can be quickly inflated or deflated. The maxima kits tend to be ones that can be dropped anywhere from 1.5" form normal ride height up to (or down to, actually) about .5" from the ground or so.
