Supsension ideals and swaying under boost
ok First off Im wondering what type of suspension would be good for helping my car hook up at the track and on the streets. Im still looking to ride as good as my tein 1.5 lower spings do now but they are to soft. I see a 115lb girl sit on my trunk and the car went way down so I could only guess why I cant get anytraction at the track and on the street. I was thinking of going with k sports but Im not sure if thats what I need? if so yes Ill get them but im looking to do some things to make this car hook with about 400whp. What type of other things could I do?
also this happened last night:
I was on the interstate last night and noticed the car starting to sway back and forth while boosting in 4th gear( I have a 6 speed) Im a 4th gen though. Im guessing Im around 300-325 to the wheels. It was almost like I had two flat rear tires But I did not. I held the gas about 60% when I felt it but it was not rear bad but you could definly tell it. What can I do to fix this? has anyone eles had a problem like this other than torque steer!

Do you have HSLD on that 6-speed? Maybe the difference is your HLSD vs my VLSD?
I have experienced this swaying on fox bodies and F-bodies, but that was because they were running drag radials. Could weak sidewalls on the rear tires be the culprit?
About traction....still working on that myself.

I am pushing about 100+whp more than you and have never had this "swaying" happen to me (BTW, all stock bushings on LCA, etc.) The front end torque steer is evident in lower gears and in 3rd gear as the car struggles for traction, but once I hit 4th/5th, it just unwinds to redline all in a straight line. My current suspension setup consists of progress springs, KYB AGX shocks, progress rear sway bar, ebay front strut bar, and 1/2" drop on the entire powertrain (to accomodate my intake).
