Changing the Shift **** on a 5-speed

Hi All,
My shift boot is worn and would like to change it. Any opinions on where to buy one.
Also I would like to upgrade my shift ****. I've seen so many and not sure what would look good and feel right. Any preferences?
Thanks in advance.

I personally like the Anneversary Edition Shift **** from the 2001 5spd. It is on Courtesy for $60. Good feel and looks...it feels very similar to stock with 10X better looks.

As far as a shift boot, redlinegoods.com is the best way to go.

I bought this one.
It looks better in real life than it does in the picture, fits fine.

I been looking for a shifter boot for my car and at the dealer they sell it with the shifter console and it's $75.
Now I can buy the ebrake boot and shifter and just replace that for $60.
Thx for the link.

I thought of buying this one too, but does it honestly look decent. On the pic, it kind of looks like its made out of cheap rubber. A bit stiff too.

The **** has thread inside of it so its just like untwisting a nut. It might be really stuck on there so what you can do is grab a rag or something else, wrap it around the lower part of the **** and use a set of vice grips. Sounds like to much for a ****, but mine was really stuck on there.

Mine tore the leather off when I used vice grips to take off the original ****... just a heads up
