Attn; I need help with this new kenwood cd player

Hey, Have any of you guys that have to 93/94 max with the stock Bose unit had it replaced. I had the bose cassette deck then I replaced it with a kenwood KDC-2011s. Then that deck went out on me so I've just installed the Kenwood KDC-6017, great deck. But my problem is that after i turn the car off longer than 5 minutes, then back on, the deck will not power at all. So the fix is to pull it all the way out, disconnect the harness from the deck then re-insert it then it works fine for a couple of days, then the symntoms repeat. for info, I am using a wiring harness between my bose connects and the head unit. Please help!!

something is shorting it out

or the wires are loose. My guess is that if the power is off when this happens it may be the wire that keeps power to it to hold the memory while the car is off. probably your yellow wire out of your adaptor. Just some 12:30am advice
