I got 2x10's powered by 500 watt amp. My license plate was the largest irritant. Later came out the tag rub through the paint. I touched that area up and sticked a tape so the plate doesnt come in contact with trunk lid. My 2nd prob I had my 150-lb box move all over my trunk. Was corrected for 30 bux, corrected for 30 bux.

For your rear deck, just get into the trunk, lie down on the trunk floor, and put the stuff under the rear deck. A little bit harder, but very doable.

Good luck.

Re: Look what I did.

for the rear deck i took a pillow apart and laid all the stuffing down underneath the deck and when i put the deck back on it was nice and tight and sealed.. my problem now is i am rattling the 3rd brake light (4th gen) out of place, it's kind of funny.

pushed it back in place, and pulled the power wire to the light REALLY tight, it's hard to get to now, but it doesnt move much.. another option is get some double sided tape..

I took the car to the install shop. They drilled two holes in the trunk area (right below the rear deck) and two holes in the sub box. Then they took two metal stripes- the type of metal that you can hardly bend but won't break, and attached them on each side of the box. The downside is that I can't access the spare w/o taking all 4 screws out, plus all the wiring to the amp (fastened to the top of the sub box).

BTW anyone knows how to take off the rear window shelf, and how much those cost?
