uh oh.. tranny slipping?

i just notices some possible slipping today. when i am braking and coming to a stop, i noticed that the engine will spin w/o moving, kinda like slipping. it doesn't happen all the time, but i've felt it twice since i changed my tranny fluid this weekend. anyone have any symptoms like this?

i have a 2kSE auto w/ almost 55k miles.

I don't know if that is slipping... do you mean that the downshift takes a long time?

yep...

a failing/slipping tranny will usually start acting up more after a fluid change (thicker oil, more pressure, harder on failing parts). probably a good thing as you are still under powertrain warranty.

all that matters is finding a way to replicate it on demand so you dont have to argue with service.

I had the Tranny TSB done just last week (TCM and solenoids) but my tranny was slipping under acceleration, not deceleration...

I don't think I understand your problem completely, are you saying your engine is reving when you brake? Could it be a fuel problem? Weird

55K!!: I have 28, are you a salesman or something?

when i brake, i can feel the 'resistance' from the engine go away for a second so it feels like i'm braking while the gear is neutral, like when you hit shove the shifter from drive to neutral while your braking.

and no, i'm not a salesperson, but i guess i drive a lot between work and school.
