Powerakoustik amps

Has anyone ever heard of Powerakoustik amps i have two of them.One is a 500 watt two channel,not quite sure of the rms.And the other one is a 980 watt two channel, again not quite sure of the rms. heres a couple of pics

They actually aren't that bad, my brother has one in his tahoe...you can get better and you won't win any competitions, but if you got them for cheap then good for you

i think its pretty cheap stuff for the power they rate them at. Who knows, they make some cool lookign amps though I remember.

Had a ****ty poweracoustik OV Series or Gothic Series, w.e... like 1100 watts max.. rofl what a piece.. wasnt very efficient, made my lights dim to the ultimate max, and wasnt very loud.. almost took my 2 infinity kappa perfect 12s when it decided to die on me... they also got extremely hot to the touch... IMO, they didnt sound really good, they sounded like, as if my subs were being underpowered, and straining the amp...

but hey, if you got them for cheap, power to ya, just good luck

I've had the 500 watt one wired up for a while now.sounds pretty good though and yeah i did get'em for cheap.The only problem i have is the grounding point in my third gen.So from what you guys are saying i should start spectin some problems
