Its good to have my Maxima back!

So for the past 2 weeks my maxima has been down, it started a month ago when my tranny was spiking in between shifts. I had it checked out at our Local Nissan dealer and they said the front pump in the transmission was going out they quoted me $3200 to replace the transmission. Well after driving it for a while it got worse and i finally had to park it. I sourced out a transmission from another auto maxima, it had 22k miles on it, i picked up the tranny for 450 bucks with a 6 month warranty on it. Found a local shop that did my install for only $350.00 and 2 days later i have my car back. I have been drving around a borrowed honda element while my car was down and let me tell you it feels great to be back in my Maxima! I missed the vq alot! The car actuall feels stronger now with the new transmission but its prob just in my mind cause i have not drove it for a while. But thats my story i am just glad to be back in my Max!

Dumb question, but how did you transport the transmission?

Put it in the back of the honda element i was driving. The Elements may be ugly but they are very versatile lol
