strange noise from speakers as I accelerate

whenever I accelerate, there is a high-pitched whirring noise that comes from all 4 speakers which gets higher in pitch as I accel and lower as I ease off the pedal...I have Bose, all 4 amps were rebuilt within the last couple of years, and my alternator was replaced a year ago...... any other suggestions? anyone else have this?

(please keep comments like "oh man thats messed up" or "bose sucks" to yourself....help and suggestions only are GREATLY welcome and appreciated)

there is a ground loop problem, somewhere, that causes the frequency of the noise to change with the engine rpm.
an example of a "fix" would be something like this....
http://www.radioshack.com/sm-more-pr...i-2062214.html

it'd need to be spliced into the line out wires of the head unit, which will suck.

only my rear speakers(which are 6 x 9's and use an old amp)
would do that sometimes so i finally have a different amp
but before changing amps i found out if i hold the r c a input
wires going into the amp tight in place it would go away
and i'd have to re-position my "r c a wire tensioner"

or you can leave it that way and pretend its the turbo whine

one time i had an 100W inverter plugged into the cig lighter, under full load, and running on it was a laptop and we had a double-ended headphone cord that you'd use to hook the audio out to the aux in jack on my radio faceplate, and as long as the laptop was plugged into the inverter, it made the same sort of whine through the speakers.

I would bet that's the problem. Happened on the family's conversion van, you could hear when the turn signals were on through the speakers, as well as when putting a window up or down. Ended up just rewiring it.

Now that i think of it, the turn signals and windows cause the same noise too...what do you mean when you say you "rewired it" ?
