handling FAQ?

Hello, i'm trying to do some research on my options to make my max handle better while not making the ride unbearable. I was reading through the handling FAQ, but it seems that it is nothing more than how-to's and where to get parts. (although it does have a section listing spring rates)

Is there a post some where that outlines the pro's and cons of different suspension mods? ie: a FSTB supposedly helps slalom speed but causes a decrease in high speed cornering grip. (i read this in the autox section)

It seems like i find bits and pieces of info on car setups but with no explanation of why people usually use a particular setup. ie: i read that people will request toe-out when getting their car aligned, but why?

Has anyone analyzed our suspension geometry to see what kind of changes take place as the car rolls?

I know this is a lot to ask, I just figured that people would have discussed it already, and was surprised not not find this type of thing in the handling FAQ.

thanks for any guidance
