Car loan for purchasing auto from an individual

Any good online banks that offer loans to buy a car from an individual?

credit unions are the best way to go.......not to many middle men that want to jack up the interest rate so you pay more cash, credit unions tend to be more lenient as far as credit goes and determining an interest rate.

There are no real ONLINE BANKS, that do this type of thing...i would NEVER SUGGEST GE MONEYBANK, they are the bastards that handle all the paypal credit relations

I applied at FirstAgain.com for a loan, but didn't use them... I ended up paying cash.

I used Capitol One. I applied online. Literally 20 minutes later I got a phone call from them to verify my application. They sent out the check that day for the amount I requested. I paid the loan off in two years and got the title 5 days after I sent the last payment. It was the least amount of hassle I have ever gone through to get a loan. They never needed to see the car so there was no justifying the amount of the loan. I couldn't go through a normal bank or credit union since I was in TN and the car I wanted was in NV and they all wanted to see the car for appraisal.
I can't say that Capitol One will give you the best interest rate, but they were very easy to deal with.
