what speed were you doing? if at 60mph, it still drops to idle, check your torque converter lock.

it does t his at any speed, and what exactly is spiking? the only thing the car does is feel like it loses acceleration unless i push the gas pedal closer to the floor, it feel almost as if the car jumps into neutral, but it continues to gain speed, but it only does this when i really mash the gas pedal, if i drive the car normally, it shifts perfectly fine

I see there were a few TSB's on the transmission in my car, whats the difference between a TSB and a RECALL??? Is a dealer obligated to repair the problem if a TSB is involved?

Recall is a factory issued Tsb, which should be fixed for free.
Tsb would be free if it's under warrenty.
